Periksa is a tool. The inspections, the judgements and the reports are the inspector's own work, and they stay on the inspector's device. Unlocking Periksa is a single payment taken by Apple or Google, never by us. If you lose your device, we cannot recover what was on it, because we never had it.
Periksa is a tool for recording property defects and producing an inspection report. It is used by the person carrying out the inspection. It is provided by Faiz Zakaria, publishing Periksa under the brand name Rintova, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Periksa does not inspect anything and does not decide anything. Every finding, every severity rating, every photograph and every word of every report is entered by the inspector using it. Periksa formats and stores their work.
If you receive a Periksa report as a homeowner, the person to raise questions with is the inspector who wrote it.
Everything you put into Periksa — inspections, photographs, customer details, your logo and the reports you produce — is yours. We claim no ownership of it and no licence to use it.
We also cannot see it. Periksa stores it on your device and does not send it anywhere. See the Privacy Policy.

Periksa is free to download. Your first real inspection is free: you record it in full and read the whole report on screen. It does not produce a PDF file — client-ready PDF reports, and any inspection after your first, need Periksa Pro.
There is one free inspection per email address. Claiming it needs an account. Your existing account keeps its free inspection marked as used, and that does not change for as long as the account exists. If you delete the account, we keep a limited one-way trial record for up to 24 months to prevent the same email immediately claiming again; after that retention period ends, a newly created account using that email may be eligible for a free inspection. This is set out in full in section 7 of the Privacy Policy. Using a different email address is not a breach of these terms, but it is not something we support or guarantee.
Periksa Pro is a subscription, available monthly or yearly.
Periksa keeps your inspections on your device and nowhere else. That is the point of it, and it has a consequence you must understand:
If you lose your device, break it, or delete the app, your inspections are gone. We cannot recover them, because we never had them.
Send each report to your customer as soon as you finish it, so the finished work is off the phone.
Periksa is provided "as is". We do our best to make it correct and reliable, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Periksa.
We may update Periksa and these terms. Material changes will be noted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use Periksa after a change means you accept it.
You may stop using Periksa at any time and delete it. We may end your right to use it if you breach these terms. Any subscription period you have already paid for is not refunded by us in that case — refunds are Apple's and Google's to give.
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
